The Dogun (pronounced doe-gun) Trading group consists of computer programmers, economists, and accountants who have joined together to merge their trading strategies into a series of stock screening algorithms. We, the Dogunners, are currently utilizing 4 specific algorithms for our daily screening process. These algorithms have all been extensively tested and when used with the Dogun Trading process (see below) provide excellent trading opportunities

Beginning in January, 2010, our stock screening selections that are published to our DogunTrading Twitter account will be mirrored here in this blog. This will allow for the Dogun team to provide more extensive commentary on our strategies, and share other market analysis.
The Dogun Stock Trading Process
The Dogun team has developed 4 specific stock screening algorithms based on the various trading strategies and personalities of the members. These screens are run against all US traded exchanges every night, and produce a list of stocks "worth watching".
It's these stock watch selections that get posted here each day.
While each screen has it's own set of rules, their goal is to find stocks ready to make a 4-12% move within the next 1 to 4 days. We add the daily selections to a rolling watch list , and add alerts to tell us if any stock starts to see upward price movement with volume. Only then do we take a position in the stock, and immediately set a stop just below the short term support level for the stock, using 5 minute, 15 minute and 60 minutes charts to determine this support level.
Our goal is to be in the position for 1-4 days, and take a 4-12% gain, while limiting losses to 2-4% maximum.
